At next Sunday's evening Mass we will celebrate the next stage of Christian Initiation for our
Candidates of Baptism and full Communion.

New Diocesan Appointments:
Archbishop George has appointed
Canon Joseph Boardman as Vicar General
and
Father David Hayman as Chancellor.
The function of Vicar General is to assist the
Archbishop in administration of the Diocese and as
second in command, is in charge when the
Archbishop is absent.
The Chancellor looks after the legal affairs of the
Diocese as far as they affect Canon Law and may
assist the Archbishop in other matters.
Please pray for them both as they take up their
new appointments.

after each Mass.
If you are not a member please consider joining
only £12 per year; paid monthly, quarterly
or yearly
up to you. A great way of supporting the
Restoration Fund and a chance to win a prize
each
month. See the team after Mass.

The first draw of 2012 will take place on
Wednesday
next, 1st February, to allow
members the opportunity of a further
week to make their contributions.

Prayer
May the Heart of Jesus, in the most Blessed
Sacrament of the Alter be Praised,
adored and loved with grateful affection,
at every moment in all the tabernacles of the
world, even to the end of time. Amen.

We have been praying the "Novena" in honour of the
Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist - our special request for the successful restoration of our Church.
"Whatever you ask for in prayer
and do so with faith, you will recieve" (Mt 21.22)

We have been asking for a special favour in this Novena
"That we are successful in restoring
our Parish Church, Our Lady and St Patrick,
making it a house of beauty
for the presence of the Blessed Sacrament"
