Restoration
have began on our Church, the repairs begin outside,
to give easy access to builders
Scaffolding have been erected around the Church. Year
2007 as shown below.

The works included
stone repairs - replacement and cleaning, renewal
of cast aluminium
rainwater goods and extensive replacement of lead
work to the roofs and parapets.

An outbreak of dry
rot was discovered and required support and replacement
of
the main roof truss members.Works were performed while
the Church remained
open for sevices with particular attention to the
ongoing work of the Church.

A Tragedy occured
The plaster behind the High Altar collapsed and demolished
the top of the High Altar as shown bolow
