The Society of St. Vincient De Paul (S.V.P.) is a worldwide Christian organisation dedicated to helping anyone in need. We exist in approximatly 140 countries with nearly 1,000,000 members. We operate as a team of volunteers
within our local area which is known as a "Conference"
Maesteg Conference has a dozen members who meet regularly for pra an allocation of work within the area. Our work includes visiting the lonely, sick, bereaved, families and anyone who is in any sort of need. All of our visits are confidential, we offer a friendly ear to listen.
Our work also extends into physical help, for example, providing transport for Hospital appointments, helping
with the shopping ect. If we can help we will.
